What happens if I experience small static shocks while vacuuming?

Certain dry conditions in winter or dry desert areas may cause common static electricity to build up in the vacuum, producing small shocks, similar to what you might experience from contact with doorknobs, wool sweaters, or blankets. This is harmless. In order to avoid this, we recommend moisturizing your hands and/or removing wool socks or sweaters prior to vacuuming.

What should I do if the power cord gets caught in the brushroll or floor nozzle?

To minimize the risk of power cord damage, DO NOT run your vacuum over the power cord. If this occurs, immediately shut off power to the vacuum and remove the cord from the brushrolls or nozzle.

What should I do if my vacuum is not picking up dirt or debris?

1. Check filters to see if they need cleaning. Follow instructions for rinsing and air-drying the filters before reinstalling them.
2. Dust cup may be full; empty dust cup.
3. Check hose, hose connections, nozzle, wand, pod, and accessories for blockages. Clear any blockages found.
4. If any hair, string, or carpet fibers are wrapped around the brushroll, extend cleaning time to allow the self-cleaning brushroll to remove them. If some hair or fibers remain wrapped around brushroll after continued use, carefully remove them.

What should I do if my cord reel is stuck or jammed?

1. Ensure the cord is fully extended from the unit (if possible).
2. Press the cord retraction button on the canister pod with your hand or foot to activate cord retraction.
